Ilona Schütz is a senior associate at HEUKING's offices in Düsseldorf and Cologne and specializes in venture capital transactions and providing comprehensive legal advice to start-ups in all phases of development.
She advises start-ups on financing rounds from the seed phase to the later stages, including exit structures such as share and asset deals. A particular focus of her work is advising international venture capital investors on their investments in German growth companies.
In addition to transaction advice, Ilona Schütz has many years of experience in providing legal support for spin-offs from universities, corporate restructuring, and the design and implementation of employee participation programs (e. g., ESOPs, VSOPs, and profit participation models).
