HEUKING advises DATAGROUP SE on the sale of DATAGROUP GO to Techone
A HEUKING team led by Dr. Rainer Herschlein and Dr. Emanuel Teichmann advised DATAGROUP SE on the sale of its SME division, DATAGROUP GO, to Techone. On October 2, 2026, DATAGROUP signed an agreement to sell its SME subsidiary, DATAGROUP GO GmbH, to the Dutch company Techone. The transaction is subject to the customary regulatory approvals.
With this sale, DATAGROUP is realigning its CORBOX managed IT services portfolio to focus more strongly on medium-sized and large enterprises with complex IT landscapes. Going forward, the company will place its strategic focus on enterprise customers, the CORBOX business, and all the necessary expertise to support it. In this way, DATAGROUP is sharpening its market profile and gaining additional capacity for the further development of its core business. DATAGROUP GO has emerged in recent years from the gradual consolidation of several IT companies. Since 2022, three acquisitions have been made in the SME segment, and the units have been gradually integrated under the DATAGROUP GO umbrella.
DATAGROUP SE, headquartered in Pliezhausen, is one of Germany's leading IT service companies. Approximately 4,000 employees at locations throughout Germany—and, since June 2026, also in the Netherlands—design, implement, and operate IT infrastructures and business applications. The buyer, Techone, is a Dutch IT service provider based in Rotterdam that primarily serves small and medium-sized enterprises.
DATAGROUP SE is a long-standing client of Dr. Herschlein and Benedikt Raisch, who have supported the company on numerous projects in recent years.
