Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises Kreissparkasse Göppingen and DZ Bank on financing the acquisition of Binder group

With a Frankfurt-based team led by partner Thomas K. Schrell, the business law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised savings bank Kreissparkasse Göppingen and DZ Bank AG on the pro-rated financing of the acquisition of all shares in Binder group by funds under management of Bregal Unternehmerkapital. The transaction volume is some EUR 64 million.
 
Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek supported the banks comprehensively in structuring, documenting, and negotiating the complex financing transaction. Bregal's experience in the automotive sector is intended to serve Binder group's sustainable and long-term development.
 
Binder group was established in 1955 and employs some 2,000 people. The company, based in Böhmenkirch-Heidhöfe near Ulm, is a system supplier for high-quality aluminum attachment parts for the automotive industry's premium segment.
 
Munich-headquartered Bregal Unternehmerkapital is part of a family business built up over several generations. The investment company specializes in the financing of medium-sized companies in German-speaking countries.
