Payment Services Supervision Act news: The new Commentary on the Payment Services Supervision Act has been published

A new Commentary on the Payment Services Supervision Act has recently been published in C.H.BECK publishing house’s “grey series.” It offers a comprehensive commentary on the regulatory requirements of the Payment Services Supervision Act as a transposition of the Payment Services Directive II (PSD II) for the provision of payment services. Dr. Dominic Janßen from our Düsseldorf office is one of the authors.

Editors of the Commentary are Prof. Dr. Frank A. Schäfer, Prof. Dr. Sebastian Omlor, and Dr. Jörg Mimberg.

Dr. Dominic Janßen has contributed the commentary on Section 15 (Own funds); Section 16 (Cover in the event of liability for payment initiation services); Section 17 (Safeguarding requirements in the provision of payment services and conduct of electronic money business), and Section 18 (Safeguarding requirements for the issuance of electronic money) of the Act.

Dr. Dominic Janßen, LL.M. (Queen Mary University of London) is a lawyer at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek. In addition to M&A/Corporate and Payment Services Regulatory Law, his practice also focuses on Health Care.
