Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises on restructuring of Bader group

Internationally operating Bader group, with some 1,000 employees throughout Europe, is preparing for the future and will undertake restructuring steps by the end of the year. As part of the restructuring, affiliated company Bader GmbH at its Senden site closes in particular the “machine cladding” partial production area.

Dr. Lothar Ende and Dr. Johan-Michel Menke are the lead advisors on this restructuring. Within an ambitious time schedule of less than one month, Bader GmbH brought the negotiations with the local works council to a successful conclusion and will carry out the necessary job cuts at the beginning of this week.

Some 150 employees are affected by the restructuring measures at the Senden site, which will concentrate on the production areas of switch cabinets, housings, and containers in the future. With these steps, Bader group intends to remain an attractive competitor in the metal industry while retaining its German production sites (additional information on swp).
