Heuking advises Art-Invest Real Estate on the planning of an inner-city neighborhood on the Kodak site in Stuttgart

A team led by Dr. Wolfram Sandner, a partner at Heuking’s Stuttgart office, is advising Art-Invest Real Estate on the planning of an inner-city neighborhood. The internationally active real estate company Art-Invest Real Estate is planning a modern, mixed-use inner-city neighborhood on the so-called “Kodak site” in Stuttgart-Wangen. The “Kodak site” covers an area roughly the size of ten soccer fields and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Neckar River and Federal Highway B10. The plans include offices, local retail, and residential units. This project aims to help meet the urgent need for housing in Stuttgart at this promising location with excellent transportation connections.

Art-Invest was founded in 2010 by the managing partners and the Zech Group and today manages real estate assets worth approximately eight billion euros through its own asset management company, primarily in metropolitan regions in Germany, Austria, and the UK. In project development, Art Invest is now one of the largest players in Germany and specializes, among other things, in innovative and architecturally sophisticated urban neighborhoods (e. g., the “Macherei” in Munich’s trendy Laim am Berg district).
