Legal Session 1 – Early-Stage Founder
As part of STARTUP WEEK Düsseldorf, we are once again inviting aspiring founders, young founders and start-up teams to our established workshop format, “Legal Session 1”. The event provides a practical overview of the key legal and tax issues that play a central role in founding and building a business. Experienced experts share up-to-date knowledge, provide concrete recommendations for action and highlight typical pitfalls that founders should avoid.
Participants gain valuable insights into topics such as choosing the appropriate legal form, employment law challenges when using artificial intelligence, establishing a legally compliant online presence, protecting ideas and intellectual property, as well as tax fundamentals and structuring options for start-ups. The focus is not only on theoretical foundations, but in particular on practical examples and current developments.
The workshops are aimed both at people with initial business ideas and at existing start-ups wishing to deepen their legal and tax knowledge. In addition to specialist input, the event offers the opportunity to put questions directly to the speakers and benefit from their experience.
Participation is possible both in person or online via MS Teams, allowing interested participants to take part in the programme flexibly.
