India Business Law Journal: Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek remains leading law firm in India business

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek remains a "top international law firm for India-related work" in 2017. The India Business Law Journal, which annually recognizes law firms for their Indian business, selected the firm for the fifth time in a row. The award is based on an analysis of more than 600 law firms worldwide, which were assessed for their India-related work by the Indian trade magazine.
Featuring growth of 7.1 percent in the 2016/2017 budget year, India remains one of the world's fastest growing economies. The volume of foreign direct investment has risen sharply over the last few years, with a record high of USD 40 billion between April 2015 and March 2016. Just a few days ago, India introduced the nationwide Goods and Services Tax as part of a tax reform. It is an important milestone to create an Indian-wide single market and will further strengthen the Indian economy.
Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's India Practice focuses on individual advice in connection with inbound and outbound investments. The firm collaborates closely with Indian law firms to provide German clients with the best possible advice on their market entry in India.
