XTI Aerospace sells Inpixon GmbH – advised by HEUKING

A HEUKING team led by Düsseldorf partner Dr. Martin Imhof provided legal advicel to XTI Aerospace, Inc. in connection with the sale of Inpixon GmbH to a group of investors.

XTI Aerospace, Inc. is a Nasdaq-listed U.S. aerospace technology company headquartered in Englewood, Colorado. The company focuses on building and scaling its Drone Nerds LLC platform for corporate and government clients.

Inpixon GmbH, based in Berlin, is an established provider of solutions in the areas of indoor positioning, real-time localization, and sensor technology, particularly for logistics centers and warehouses. Together with its subsidiaries—IntraNav GmbH, based in Eschborn, and Aware RTLS, Inc., based in Texas, USA—the Inpixon Group develops and markets hardware and software systems that use sensor technology, wireless technologies (e.g., UWB, BLE, RFID), and data analysis to enable the precise tracking of people, devices, and objects inside buildings. As part of its strategic realignment toward the field of drone technology, XTI Aerospace is divesting its real-time location systems (RTLS) business.

The buyer is a special-purpose acquisition company established specifically for the transaction, which is owned by Wegesrand Technologie Holding GmbH (Mönchengladbach) and Fyrish Ventures AB (Sollentuna, Sweden). The investor group combines extensive technology experience and global market expertise and will continue to develop Inpixon's RTLS business independently.
