Advising SyBIT GmbH shareholders on the sale of a 60 percent stake to itelligence AG

A team comprised of lawyers from several offices, led by Stuttgart-based partner Dr. Peter Ladwig, advised the shareholders of SyBIT GmbH, Radolfzell, on the sale of initially 60 percent of their shares in the company to itelligence AG and accompanied the transaction. Eventually, itelligence aims to acquire a 100 percent stake in SyBIT.

SyBIT GmbH was founded in 2000 and currently employs some 170 people. The company is a leading expert in customer relationship management (CRM) and e-commerce in Germany. SyBIT is one of the few Cloud Focus Partners recognized by SAP and ranks among the top 20 digital agencies in Germany.

itelligence is one of the world’s leading SAP consulting firms and is operating in 25 countries with around 7,200 employees. With its comprehensive range of services in SAP strategy consulting, SAP license sales, proprietary SAP industry solutions, application management, and hosting services, itelligence generated total revenues of about EUR 872.2 million in 2017.

The acquisition of SyBIT enables itelligence to secure one of the top positions in the market for customer management and e-commerce systems in Germany. Jointly with SyBIT, itelligence now features one of the largest and most experienced teams of consultants for SAP customer management systems (CRM) and cloud-based e-commerce solutions in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Even after the acquisition, SyBIT will continue to operate in the market with its own brand name.
