Pan-European Call-For-Tenders For The Construction Of A Sewage Treatment Plant In Stettin-Pomorzany/Poland

We acted as legal advisors to the bidder in the instigation of the call-for-tenders. We offered legal assistance in drawing up a tender for the construction of a sewage treatment plant with treatment facilities for effluents and digested sludge in Stettin/Pomorzany, Poland. Building costs amounted to approximately 56 million Euro.

The special feature of the pan-European call-for-tenders:

  • It was written in English and based on Polish law.

The special requirements:

  • Bidding syndicate agreements and ARGE (Group) contracts/joint-venture agreements had to be drawn up in English, in collaboration with a foreign counterbidder, and had to take account of a “vertical” distribution of tasks
  • and Legal advice to the bidder was based on applicable Polish law on the awarding of contracts.
