HEUKING advises AssistMe GmbH on its 6.5 million Euro financing round
Ariane Neubauer, Equity Partner at HEUKING's Berlin office, and Dr. Henrik Lay, Equity Partner at HEUKING's Hamburg office, provided comprehensive legal advice to AssistMe GmbH on its 6.5 million Euro financing round. The round was led by CRB Health Tech and Vorwerk Ventures. Additional participants include U.S.-based investor SUM Ventures as well as existing investors Brandenburg Kapital, the Conle Family Office, Next Big Thing and IBB Capital.
AssistMe is a MedTech company that develops digital assistance systems for professional nursing care. Its IoT platform alea captures care-relevant parameters in real time, including incontinence product saturation levels, body position, repositioning intervals, and fall indicators, and makes them immediately available to caregivers. On this basis, interventions can be initiated based on actual need rather than fixed routines. The collected data is automatically transferred into the care documentation system, reducing administrative workload.
alea is already in use at both large and small care providers. In the last six months alone, monthly recurring revenue has more than doubled. alea is currently active in eight countries across Europe.
The capital will be used to expand sales structures in Europe, prepare for U.S. market entry starting in 2027, and further develop the platform. In parallel, AssistMe is opening alea to a new market: going forward, the platform will increasingly address home care, thereby extending its reach beyond institutional long-term care into the outpatient care sector.
HEUKING partner Ariane Neubauer had previously advised AssistMe GmbH on its 5.2 million Euro financing round in 2025.
