Heuking increases revenue in fiscal 2022

In fiscal 2022, Heuking increased revenue from EUR 185.4 million to EUR 192.4 million, corresponding to an increase of EUR 7 million or 3.8% compared to the year prior.

Revenue per professional also increased again in 2022. After many years of strong growth, overall revenue had declined slightly in the previous years, but revenue per professional, and thus profitability, had also increased in 2021. With 382.6 lawyers (FTE), revenue per professional increased to EUR 503,000 in 2022, up EUR 21,000 or 4.4% year-on-year.

“Even though the overall economic situation remains challenging following the years of the corona pandemic, the ongoing war in Ukraine, high inflation and supply chain issues, we have had a successful year. We are well positioned for the future, especially with our full-service approach. The expansion of our activities in the Legal Tech sector, such as the WhistleFox whistleblower system, is also contributing to our success,” said Dr. Andreas Urban, Managing Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek.

At the beginning of 2022, nine new equity partners were promoted internally to join the partnership. This year, the firm added a lateral partner, Dr. Dr. Johannes Blassl, in January and appointed nine equity partners from within its own ranks.
