HEUKING successfully advises the City of Norderstedt on contract conclusion: EUR 7.7 million extension for Coppernicus High School
Coppernicus High School in the Garstedt district will receive a much-needed extension for music and classrooms. The City of Norderstedt retained the HEUKING team led by Partner Dr. Martin Schellenberg and Salaried Partner Fabian Budde for legal advice.
The team supported the City in particular with the bidding procedure, contract negotiations and contract drafting, leading to the successful signing. On August 7, 2025, the City of Norderstedt, Hamburg-based construction company OTTO WULFF and HEUKING signed the contract at Norderstedt Town Hall, marking this important milestone.
The modern timber extension forms part of a larger urban development project around the Herold-Center. With an investment of EUR 7.7 million, the project makes a significant contribution to the sustainable design of the neighborhood.
