Nine-person Real Estate and Financing team for Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek: Three partners for the Düsseldorf office, one new partner in Frankfurt

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek will add four new partners at the Düsseldorf and Frankfurt offices. By February 16, 2013, Dr. Michael Alberts, Dr. Peter Zimmermann and Dr. Peter Vocke will join as equity partners in Düsseldorf, Dr. Christoph Wetzler will join as equity partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Frankfurt office.

In total, nine lawyers from Orrick will move to Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek. The three partners in Düsseldorf will be joined by four associates. Wetzler will start working with an associate in Frankfurt.

The team covers the entire range of large real estate projects from transaction to development to financing, both for national and particularly for international clients. Thus Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek succeeds in complementing its existing practice in this field in an excellent manner and in simultaneously expanding the outstanding competence already available in the fields of construction and real estate to a comprehensive total service offering for high-value real estate projects.

Michael Alberts boasts more than 20 years of experience as legal adviser on all types of real estate projects, particularly on large real estate transactions and development projects. He advises a large number of international real estate investors and developers, including for shopping centers. His field of work also comprises the areas of real estate financing and restructuring as well as Corporate/M&A and joint venture structuring with relation to real estate projects. He is a lecturer on international loan agreements at the "Real Estate" JurGrad graduate study program of Münster University.

Peter Zimmermann also has more than 20 years of experience in the field of real estate law. Peter Zimmermann's focus lies on structuring and carrying out purchasing and sale transactions both of individual real estate parcels and of real estate portfolios. In particular, he advises various funds companies. In addition, he advises project developers, particularly in the areas of shopping centers, with regard to all phases of development.

Christoph Wetzler has been working in the areas of Financing and Corporate/M&A for 15 years. In Financing, he focuses on advising as part of transaction-based financing, such as acquisiting financing, project financing or the financing of real estate transactions. Since 2005, Wetzler has been a visiting lecturer at Frankfurt School of Finance and Management as part of its LL.M. study program M&A.

Peter Vocke has been advising renowned clients in national and international real estate transactions and developments for more than 10 years. Vocke especially focuses on the development of and advice on shopping centers and additionally on matters of insurance and reinsurance law, mainly as part of international liability cases and arbitration proceedings. He also advises on other matters related to real estate, such as brokerage law.

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek is thus continuing its expansion path that the firm has pursued for several years and is again gaining strong partners.
