Reinforcement at Frankfurt office: Markus Lennartz joins Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek from Deutsche Telekom

As of February 15, 2015, Markus Lennartz (44) will take up his work as salaried partner for Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek. The specialist for IT, public procurement, and contract law will strengthen the team led by Dr. Stephan Witteler in Frankfurt.

Lennartz has been a lawyer for 15 years and previously worked at Deutsche Telekom AG group. In the past 4 years, he managed the expansion of the group's international business with public clients and, in particular, with the European institutions as well as international research institutions, such as the ESA.

Among other things, Lennartz accompanied the group's participation in public procurement projects in the hundreds of million euro range and supported large-scale projects, such as the IPO of T-Online International AG. As long-term office manager of the CEO, he was additionally responsible for the committee work of the executive and supervisory boards and the advancement of corporate governance.

"In Mr. Lennartz, we are gaining an internationally renowned expert for IT, contract, and public procurement law with extensive experience in the management of infrastructure projects and corporate processes at the same time," Dr. Stephan Witteler was pleased to comment the reinforcement of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's IT law team.

In November 2014, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek had received the award as "Law Firm of the Year in Information Technology" from industry analyst Juve. Key aspects for the award were the long-term support of large and complex logistics, IT, and telecommunications infrastructure projects provided by the team led by Dr. Witteler.
