Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Hamburg office expanding again: Hoff joining Practice Group Corporate as Salaried Partner

As of September 1, Dr. Hans Henning Hoff (40) will join Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Hamburg as Salaried Partner and will strengthen the corporate law team led by Dr. Stefan Duhnkrack. Previously he worked as Associate at Zenk Rechtsanwälte.

Hoff, who was also admitted to the Icelandic bar in 2005, started his career at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hamburg and in 2009, the year following the beginning of the financial crisis in Iceland, moved to Icelandic firm Logos Legal Services in Reykjavik. In 2011, Hoff returned to Hamburg to join Zenk Rechtsanwälte.

He is focusing on corporate and real estate law, mainly advising clients in the mechanical engineering and renewable energy industries. His clients include Scandinavian and primarily Icelandic companies, which he advises on their activities in Germany. Last year, jointly with his former colleagues from Icelandic firm Logos, he advised Icelandic Group on the sale of their German and French affiliates with respect to German law. In addition, Hoff also advises foreign companies on Icelandic corporate law, in particular on mergers & acquisitions and joint ventures in Iceland.

The Hamburg office will thus again be joined by a Salaried Partner: Just in May of this year, Fabian Gaffron, lawyer and tax advisor, joined the office as Salaried Partner in Tax Law. At the beginning of the year, trademark law expert Christian Spintig had joined the Hamburg office as Equity Partner.
