A-List: Dr. Martin Imhof again recognised among the top 100 India-focused legal experts outside India

Dr. Martin Imhof, Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek and Head of the India Desk, has been included in India Business Law Journal’s “A-List” for the second time in a row. The Indian law magazine regularly researches the best international lawyers for India-related transactions and business who are based outside the country. The result, the exclusive “A-List,” lists the top 100 international India experts worldwide.

According to Avik Biswas, Partner at Indian law firm IndusLaw, Imhof has established his reputation as “one of the most recognizable and trusted names in Indo-German matters”. “Martin’s clients trust him implicitly, and what really stands out for us is that he is very reliable, consistent and fair, whether we represent the same client or are on opposite sides,” Biswas added.

To identify the 100 best India-focused legal experts outside India, India Business Law Journal asked hundreds of legal professionals in Indian law firms and thousands of Indian and international in-house counsel for nominations. The final “A-List” reflects these nominations in combination with the more than 30 years of experience of India Business Law Journal’s editorial team in analyzing the Indian legal market.

“India Business Law Journal once again recognized our India Desk, which makes us proud. It is particularly the appreciation of peers from Indian law firms that means a lot to us,” said Imhof. “We have been operating on the Indian market for a long time. India’s economy and investments in the Indian market have recently been growing strongly again. We will continue to support our clients in their activities in the Indo-German market in the future.”

The international “A-List” was published in India Business Law Journal’s March issue and in the digital edition of India Business Law Journal at IBLJ.vantageasia.com.

Additional information on India-related transactions is available on the India Desk topic page.
