Groundbreaking Ceremony for House of Generations in Hennef - Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek supported the City of Hennef in selecting the Investor

On the property at the corner of Humperdinckstraße and Mittelstraße, the City of Hennef planned the construction of a multi-generational building, which is to house among others a new child day-care center, a family counseling center, the Children and Youth Foundation, the Senior Citizens' Office and other social associations. Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised the City of Hennef on the invitation to bid in a Europe-wide negotiation procedure on the sale of the property with obligation to build.

After the competent committees had approved the sale of the municipal property to the winning investor (Hennef Invest GmbH) in the award procedure, the lease agreement, which was also part of the bidding, on the use of about one third of the space of the multi-generational house was concluded between the investor and the City.

By performing the groundbreaking ceremony on May 9, 2012, mayor Klaus Pipke marked the official start of the construction of the multi-generational house. Construction is to be completed by July 31, 2013 and the first real house of generations is to be formally opened.

"We are very glad that the procedure on the sale of the property with obligation to build for the multi-generational house has now been successfully concluded and construction will actually commence," said Dr. Ute Jasper (Lawyer and Partner), who jointly with Dr. Neven-Daroussis (Lawyer and Salaried Partner) had provided legal advice on the award procedure.
