Heuking advises AURELIUS Equity Opportunities on its public share buyback offer
Dr. Mirko Sickinger, LL.M. and Lena Pfeufer, experts in stock corporation law and capital markets law, advised AURELIUS Equity Opportunities SE & Co. KGaA on drafting and implementing a public share buyback offer. In accordance with the resolution of the company’s Annual General Meeting on December 20, 2023, up to 6.6 million shares may be repurchased under the 2024 share buyback program for a maximum amount of up to EUR 80 million.
Based on the Annual General Meeting resolution, AURELIUS Equity Opportunities will retire all purchased shares, which will, however, not entail a capital decrease.
AURELIUS Equity Opportunities focuses primarily on the operational management of lower mid-market portfolio companies, aided by a task force comprised of more than 180 highly qualified specialists.
