HEUKING advises Schoeller Ventures on the formation of Multiloop joint venture with logistics service provider FIEGE
A HEUKING team led by Munich-based Salaried Partner Roman Ettl-Steger, LL.M., legally advised Schoeller Ventures GmbH on the establishment of Multiloop, a joint venture developing a sustainable reusable system for e-commerce.
Multiloop develops durable, water-repellent shipping containers made from recyclable polypropylene. Each Multiloop box is designed for repeated use, replacing up to 30 single-use cardboard boxes and reducing carbon emissions up to 86 percent. At the end of its lifecycle, the packaging is fully recyclable and reprocessed into new containers. With Multiloop, Schoeller and FIEGE offer online retailers a practical, cost-efficient solution for minimizing environmental impact across the supply chain.
Schoeller Group has been pioneering innovative reusable systems for over 60 years. Through its investment arm, Schoeller Ventures, the group supports growth-stage companies focused on sustainable logistics, reusable packaging, renewable energy, and decarbonization. Today, Schoeller Group and its portfolio companies operate in more than 70 countries, generating annual revenue of EUR 1.5 billion, and employing some 4,000 people worldwide.
