Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises CoBe Capital for the purchase of the division mining system from Sandvik

Dr. Jörg aus der Fünten, Partner at the Cologne office of business law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, advised private investment firm CoBe Capital on the acquisition of Sandvik AB's Mining Systems business unit. The transaction is subject to the occurrence of certain closing conditions and is expected to close in Q4/2016. The purchase price was not disclosed. Following the sale of Mining systems, Sandvik intends to focus more on its core business in the future.
 
CoBe Capital specializes in acquiring and operating non-core and underperforming business units from global corporations. The geographical focus of CoBe Capital is in America and Europe. The company was founded in 1994 with headquarters in New York City and now has offices in Cologne and Zurich.
 
Mining Systems is a separate business unit within Sandvik Mining and a design and construction provider of transport equipment for mining. Mining Systems employs some 1,100 people.
