Newly published: Commenting Sections 324 et seqq. German Penal Code (environmental criminal law) by lawyer Dr. André Szesny in the Heidelberg Commentary

In the recently published second edition of the Heidelberg Commentary on the Penal Code, Dr. André-M. Szesny, LL.M. comments Sections 324 et seqq. (environmental criminal law).

Environmental criminal law is part of corporate criminal law. Problems of impermissible waste disposal and water pollution are particularly relevant in practice. The commenting in the Heidelberg Commentary is particularly addressed to lawyers and defense counsels. It goes beyond classical commenting of substantive law and among other things provides current tips for practical purposes.

Dr. André-M. Szesny, LL.M. is lawyer and partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek and heads its White Collar & Criminal Compliance Practice Group. He defends in white collar, tax and environmental criminal law proceedings and advises companies both in criminal crisis and as a preventive measure. Szesny publishes on aspects of criminal law, criminal procedural law and compliance. He is a member of the editorial staff of trade magazine WiJ and speaker of the working group Capital Market Criminal Law of the White Collar Crime Association.
