WhiteGreyBlack GmbH acquires majority stake in Radeberger Fleisch- und Wurstwaren Korch GmbH assisted by Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek

Dr. Rainer Herschlein and his team of lawyers advised WhiteGreyBlack GmbH on the acquisition of a majority stake in Radeberger Fleisch- und Wurstwaren Korch GmbH from the previous shareholders, the Korch family, and accompanied the transaction. SIB Innovations- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH became a minority shareholder as part of the transaction.

The advice by Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek included drafting and negotiating of all contracts with the sellers in the context of the transaction, in particular purchase contracts and real estate purchase contracts as well as subcontracts. The advice also comprised the financing and investment agreements with SIB Innovations- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH.

Radeberger Fleisch- und Wurstwaren GmbH is an established regional meat and sausage producer, which sells its products under the “Radeberger Original” private label to grocery stores, in its own branches, and to restaurants, primarily in Eastern Germany. The company has been family-operated for over 75 years. Michael Korch and his wife Andrea Korch already represent the third generation of butchers in the family.

WhiteGreyBlack GmbH is a private investment firm operated by Munich-based private investor Felix Alber. He has previously worked in the food industry and will join the operative business as an additional general manager. SIB Innovations- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden, which supports medium-sized companies in the Dresden region in issues relating to equity financing and corporate development.
