WiWo: HEUKING Top in the field of restructuring – Prof. Dr. Georg Streit receives another award
In its latest issue, WirtschaftsWoche once again names Prof. Dr. Georg Streit, partner in HEUKING's Munich office, as a top lawyer in the field of restructuring. HEUKING continues to be one of the top law firms in this field.
The Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) surveyed over 1,700 lawyers in 176 law firms to compile a list of the most renowned lawyers in various fields, including restructuring. The final list, which was reviewed by a jury of experts and has now been published in WirtschaftsWoche, includes 33 law firms and 45 recommended lawyers in the field of restructuring.
Prof. Dr. Streit, who is also a lecturer in insolvency law and restructuring at the University of Mannheim and comments on insolvency plan law and the standards for restructuring plans under StaRUG in the Uhlenbruck commentary on the Insolvency Code, has headed HEUKING's Restructuring practice group since 2007. This group consists of lawyers and tax advisors with special experience and qualifications in the field of insolvency law as well as reorganization and restructuring.
