HEUKING advises LVM Versicherung in connection with the insolvency of Revo Hospitality Group and the execution of a new lease agreement for the Mövenpick Hotel Münster with Odyssey Hotel Group

HEUKING advised LVM Versicherung, the owner of the Mövenpick Hotel Münster on Lake Aasee, on the termination of the lease agreement with Revo Hospitality Group. Revo Hospitality Group filed for insolvency on January 15, 2026. On September 1, 2026, the hotel was handed over to the new tenant, Odyssey Hotel Group.

The HEUKING team led by Armin von Grießenbeck, Steffen Burrer, and Björn Grotebrune conducted negotiations both with the debtor-in-possession administrator over the assets of Revo Hospitality Group, Gordon Geiser, and with various prospective tenants and operators. As a result, LVM entered into a new lease agreement with Odyssey Hotel Group. HEUKING assisted with all related contracts and negotiations. HEUKING's advisory role also included a comprehensive agreement with debtor-in-possession administrator Geiser. The Mövenpick brand will thus be retained at the location.

Odyssey Hotel Group is represented by the law firm KUCERA (Birgit Böhn and Sven Griem). The operator search and hotel-specific advisory services were provided by Michaeler & Partner (Vienna) and the team of Roman Kopacek and Sabrina Kubik. Odyssey Hotel Group will take on nearly 100 employees of the hotel, which comprises 224 rooms and suites.

LVM Versicherung, together with Odyssey Hotel Group, is planning a renovation of the hotel. The goal is to bring the property up to the current standards of the Mövenpick brand. The hotel was handed over to Odyssey Hotel Group including all furnishings and equipment.
