HEUKING advises Lindhorst Group on acquisition of a 36 MWp rooftop photovoltaic portfolio
A HEUKING team led by Düsseldorf partner Sonja Groht advised JLW Holding AG, a company of the Lindhorst Gruppe, on the acquisition of approximately 80 rooftop photovoltaic systems with a total installed capacity of approximately 36 MWp from the nationwide portfolio of the Sun Contracting Germany group, for which attorney Nicolas F. Grimm (Ehler Ermer & Partner mbB) has been appointed as insolvency administrator. The purchase was carried out as a distressed M&A transaction. The parties have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
A combined team from HEUKING's energy law and M&A practices advised the buyer throughout the entire transaction process — from due diligence through contract drafting and negotiation to execution of the agreement, as well as in the preparation and completion of closing.
