Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek-accompanied award procedure for a "digital magazine" of the Free State of Thuringia concluded

The objective of the award procedure of the Thuringia Main State Archive Weimar, which was advised by Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, was the setup and the operation of a "digital magazine" tailored at the needs of the Thuringian state administration. It was a requirement to comply with professional and customary technical standards for the archiving of all types of electronic documents. H&T Greenline GmbH was awarded the contract for the necessary software. The contracting authority succeeded in bringing the award procedure to a successful conclusion in due time and without objections and review procedures.

In the state authorities of the Free State of Thuringia, digital data created on a daily basis from the work with emails and text processing programs, electronic processing of events, and specialized databases must be kept available for an unlimited period of time, where such data is classified as worthy to be archived. This requires a particular IT infrastructure, which is now being implemented in the context of the "digital magazine."

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised comprehensively on the award procedure and supported the Thuringia Main State Archive in particular on the drafting of the award and contract documents, on responding to bidder inquiries and on reviewing and evaluating the bids.
