Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises EAB / Parcom Deutsche Private Equity on the acquisition of assets of Rudolf Fritz GmbH & Co. KG

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised EAB Group, part of the portfolio of the Parcom I private equity fund, on the acquisition of assets of Rudolf Fritz GmbH & Co. KG, Rüsselsheim. The takeover by the EAB Group allowed for the continued employment at unchanged terms of a majority of the employees of Rudolf Fritz GmbH & Co. KG, which was forced to file for bankruptcy at the beginning of October.

The EAB Group includes EAB Elektroanlagenbau GmbH Rhein/Main with branches at Neu-Isenburg/Zeppelinheim, Maintal-Dörnigheim and Darmstadt as well as Jena-headquartered D-I-E Elektro AG with branches in Hamburg, Berlin, Naumburg, Gera and Munich. The technical service portfolio of the group includes the areas of building and industrial installations, security systems, home automation, energy management and consulting, communications engineering, engineering management and operations management.

Parcom Deutsche Private Equity is an investment firm specializing in long-term financing for the expansion of medium-sized businesses in German-speaking countries, based in Munich.
