At Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, Jacobs will join the IP, Media & Technology Practice Group led by lawyer and partner Michael Schmittmann. "With Professor Jacobs we are gaining a luminary in the field of intellectual property law, which will allow us to significantly expand our advisory expertise for the benefit of our joint clients. Especially in gaming law, we are a joint force in Germany that is unrivaled now", Schmittmann said. For Jacobs, the move only offers benefits as well: "Due to the law firm's wide range in commercial advisory services I will be able to advise existing and future clients in a more comprehensive and flexible manner beyond the areas that I am already covering."
