Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek supports Baden-Württemberg in dispute with DB over poor performance

The Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Transport warned Deutsche Bahn in writing about continuing problems in regional rail transport in the Southwest. The warning states that the deficiencies need to be remedied quickly. Otherwise, further legal measures would be taken, up to a possible exclusion from award procedures. Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises the state of Baden-Württemberg in this dispute.

The ministry criticizes massive problems with delays and train failures, with several hundred regional passenger trains having failed to operate on individual routes. "Unless quality improves significantly, there will not only be contractual sanctions, but also the exclusion from further competitions," explained Ute Jasper, Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek
