New Counsel: Arndt Kaubisch reinforces HEUKING’s Restructuring practice
As of early June, Arndt Kaubisch, LL.M. (46), joins HEUKING as Counsel. He moves from Eversheds Sutherland and will bolster the Restructuring & Insolvency practice under the leadership of Dr. Stefan Proske, working from both Berlin and Munich.
Arndt Kaubisch has been with Eversheds Sutherland since 2011, where he advised creditors on restructuring and insolvency matters, with a particular focus on cross-border cases. He specializes in litigation and insolvency-related advisory work. His clients include domestic and international creditors, insolvency administrators, and companies in financial distress. Arndt Kaubisch advises and represents clients on insolvency clawback claims, D&O liability in insolvency, and the enforcement and treatment of security interests and third-party rights.
At HEUKING, Kaubisch will focus on advising creditors, particularly banks, on complex restructuring projects and on defending liability claims against parent or controlling entities. He will also contribute his extensive restructuring expertise to large and complex real estate mandates.
With the addition of Arndt Kaubisch, 42 professionals now work in the Restructuring practice group.
