Sodecia acquires assets and business activities of BCT
A team led by Dr. Hermann Ali Hinderer, Partner at the Stuttgart office, legally advised Sodecia Group on the acquisition of the assets and business activities of B&B Holding GmbH & Co. KG and BRAUN CarTec GmbH (jointly BCT).
The buyer, newly incorporated Sodecia Automotive Oelsnitz GmbH (SAOEL), is part of Sodecia Group, a global automotive supplier headquartered in Maia, Portugal. Sodecia Group will take over all activities at BCT’s Saarlouis site, which was built only a few years ago.
The acquisition of BCT’s business activities is of strategic importance for Sodecia Group’s expansion. The company is significantly expanding its expertise in hot-forming in Europe and will be able to draw on BCT’s many years of experience in this area.
Following the client’s acquisition of Kemmerich group, Heuking again provided comprehensive legal and tax advice to Sodecia Group.
