HEUKING advises the shareholders of SATec GmbH on the acquisition by Rivean Platform 2Connect and reinvestment
A HEUKING team led by Stuttgart-based partners Dr. Rainer Herschlein and Dr. Emanuel Teichmann provided legal and tax advice to the shareholders of SATec GmbH in connection with the sale to the Netherlands-based 2Connect, a Rivean Capital portfolio platform, and their reinvestment in the combined entity.
Through the acquisition, 2Connect combines its interconnect expertise with SATec's engineering and system integration capabilities. This creates a comprehensive end-to-end service offering for safety-critical end markets, including defense, the semiconductor industry, and aerospace.
Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Bischofswiesen, Germany, SATec GmbH is a leading German manufacturer of specialty cables and electromechanical assemblies. Its range of services encompasses automation technology, control cabinet manufacturing, plant installations, cable assembly, PLC programming, as well as defense and military technology.
